Based just outside of the beautiful city of York, we are ideally situated to serve every corner of Yorkshire, Teeside and North Lincolnshire due to our proximity to major road networks.
We operate out of our purpose built premises in Elvington having been based here for over 30 years. Throughout that time we have constantly adapted our Yard / Workshop and Sales outlet to meet the ever changing demands of the market place. We now have a modern workshop facility will all the equipment required to ensure that the machinery you hire from us, arrives in top condition.
We have a young, enthusiastic team of salesmen, fitters, operators and drivers who are passionate about what they do. Add to this an extensive on going training regime for every employee and we believe we have the right mix of personnel and training, to offer a 1st Class, professional service which we have strived to offer from day 1.
Tim Garland, Managing Director
Born and Bred into the Construction and Agriculture Industries, Tim gained his enthusiasm for all things plant related by spending days at a time on the present MD's knee in the back fo a JCB 3c as a digger obsessed 3 year old.!
Having spent time as a Construction SIte Manager in his early 20's, Tim has the Knowledge and understanding of what our customers need from us and more importantly how to deliver it! He is responsible for driving all aspects of the business forward and expanding the companies contracting division.
When not at work, youll either find him socalising in town, out on his motorbike or entertaining his two young daughters.

Gavin Butterfield, Hire Desk Manager
With over 10 years HGV and HIAB experience, Gavin joined EPH in 2015. Initially employed as a driver, Gavin quickly moved into the office on the Hire Desk, with the task of being Hire Desk Controller. Before progressing up through the ranks to his current position as Hire Desk Manager.
Out of work, Gavin enjoys going to music and comedy gigs and also likes to relieve his stress(or more likely add to it!) by watching Leeds United.
